Communications

One of the goals of the Secretariat is to begin to take advantage of electronic communication. The Communications Committee is making preparations to offer the newsletter electronically. The current paper newsletter will not go away, but we are aware that some would prefer an electronic version.

If you would like to receive the newsletter electronically, please send an email to communications@cincinnati-cursillo.org with Newsletter in the subject line and provide the following:

Name, Email address, Parish, City, State

Please be assured that we do not sell or provide our mailing list, including email addresses, to other groups or companies.

If you would like to be a part of the Communications Committee or have any ideas or suggestions, please contact the committee at communications@cincinnati-cursillo.org.

Palanca

In the interest of promoting more palanca for the Weekend(s), we urge you to consider Chapter 12 of the (new) Leader's Manual (para 4, pg. 135).  Bishop Hervas quotes the first orientation from the original Leaders' Manual: "We should have the  intimate and absolute conviction that everything in the Cursillo is the work of God's grace.  It is necessary, therefore, to pray and sacrifice oneself for the spiritual and apostolic success of the same.  The miracles of God's grace are granted to confident prayer, accompanied by sacrifice, not to knowledge or experience."

Palanca / Prayer Partners

Pray for the men’s and women’s teams as they prepare for the upcoming weekends. Our palanca is powerful and necessary

72 Hour Palanca

 

Please, if possible, sign up with your Ultreya when you are offering your Palanca for the Weekends.  All Ultreya coordinators should pass around a sign up sheet for each weekend.

Duplicate Mail

 

    We have been advised by our new mailing service that we have "multiple" mailings of the Newsletter going to the same address(s).  In the interest of keeping costs down, we will eliminate this duplication unless a request is made to continue sending the extra copies.
